Passing through London

At the start of the year, I went on a trip to London, although I have been several times, I decided to take photos and even do a video. It’s just a very photogenic and inspiring city.

I decided to film on this trip, I normally just take photos, but I wanted to try something different, with a simple notion of constantly moving forward trough London and a main visual concept of symmetry, leading lines and people in slow motion.

But my main objective was to shoot manual on the flattest profile I could reasonably get, so then in post-production I could colour correct and test, being able to achieve desired subtle looks. Very time consuming but fun.

Thanks to Casey from Def Jam Records for contacting and asking for some footage for the new video ‘Alessia Cara: London’, I am really happy with the final product and would have never imagined a opportunity like this one!

  1. Woah at the START of the year? You take your time to perfect your videos huh. I should try doing that. My videos are always edited in the same week lol…Anyways, I liked the video a lot. Totally different from your past vids. I might try this theme one day. Keep it up! :)

    • Hahaha well, I had other projects and for some time I wasn’t even going to edit this! But yes, I take my time to really get in the process and appreciate details because everything has to be perfect. Thanks, it’s always cool to ‘inspire others to inspire themselves’!.
